We shall now be open Monday to Thursday 10am-4pm, and Friday 10am-12pm
Feel free to come in at any point and even bring some lunch if you’d like!

We have been really enjoying having women safely back in the centre, enjoying our groups and social sessions utilising our recently decorated group room. We have been enjoying a range of activities from Diamond art, matchstick modelling, quizzes and meditation, amongst others!
Following the recent announcement from the Government, we would like to let you know our plans for relaxing the restrictions for our social sessions (coffee drop ins).
Our Coffee & social drop ins are for anyone registered within the centre who would just like to come down and for a cuppa and a chat. You are welcome to come at any time and stay for as long as you like within the time frames below. Booking is currently required so we can manage numbers but this will be phased out as shown below.
We will continue to follow the Government Guidelines with regards to this and update you on any changes that need to be made.

From Monday 19th July 2021 you are no longer required to wear masks within the centre, however we ask that you remain mindful of others and continue to social distance and regular hand sanitizing within in the centre.
All other groups and courses are still required to be booked in advance.

Hi all, we are delighted to be able to expand Gateway 4 Women having now gained the upstairs of the building. This will allow us to increase the support we are able to provide to women accessing Gateway 4 Women. This is particularly vital at this time as we have seen an increase in the support needed and number of referrals made due to the effects of COVID-19. We would love to make this new upstairs area as welcoming and homely as the main area. We have set up a Crowd Funder to help raise the funds needed to re-floor this new area. My Story.
“I came very reluctantly to G4W two & a half years ago on the advice of my CPN to an Arts & Crafts group.
I was a frightened, anxious, insecure & lonely woman who had been confined to four walls for nearly 5 years following a nervous breakdown & numerous suicide attempts.
For the first 3 weeks I hated it! I didn’t want to be around other people but from the offset the staff & clients were so friendly & helpful. I forced myself every week to go back to the Arts & Crafts group & eventually I started to look forward to it & enjoy it.
After about 6 months I was offered a place on the BWBM course & that’s where my life changed. It was intense but I thrived on it. I realised I wasn’t worthless & a nobody but that I deserved to be alive & be a somebody! I came out of my shell & found myself offering to be a volunteer in the centre working behind reception & admin.
I’ve done this for the past two years & in March of this year I was offered part time employment as an Admin assistant. I have grown so much since joining G4W. I’m no longer insecure & anxious, I love going to work & I still volunteer. Without the team at G4W I know I wouldn’t be alive today. Hand on heart the centre, staff & clients saved my life.”
